Hospice Account Manager (Carson City)

Hospice Account Manager

This is a full-time position assigned to our Carson City, NV location.  

This person will be covering the Carson City territory.  

Compensation band: $89,500 to $112,000/yr + an uncapped commission plan. The sky is the limit on your earning potential!

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s Degree preferred). 
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare marketing management, preferably in home health. 
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills. 
• Ability to assertively market and deal tactfully with patients, their families and the community. 
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.  
• Valid driver’s license. 
 
What you will be doing?: 
• Manages daily marketing operations, sales calls and ongoing education with referral decision makers. 
• Facilitates education on guidelines and agency services provided. 
• Participates in community education events, including speaking to healthcare professionals, and institutions to provide education on services offered by Mission Healthcare. 
• Coordinates with physician offices for necessary documentation, such as physician signature on orders, required addendums and other documents in a timely manner. 
• Develops and implements marketing plans, assist in establishing territory volume projections and monitors the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations. 
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of Mission Healthcare’s markets including major payor groups, key referral sources and competitor’s market positioning. 
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with referral and payor sources. 
• Monitors and reports on cost-effective marketing efforts. 
• Remains educated and up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes.
