We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Manager to drive business development and strategic partnerships for our SMB SaaS financial management tool. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing commercial relationships with vendors, service providers, and ecosystem partners to enhance the value proposition for our users and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and experience in business development within the SaaS or fintech space.

In this role you will- Develop and execute a commercial strategy to build and manage partnerships that bring value to our SME users and the business.
- Identify and engage with key vendors, service providers, and ecosystem partners to integrate relevant services into our platform.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership deals to maximize value for both the company and its users.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth integration and adoption of partner services.
- Identify monetization opportunities through partnerships, such as revenue-sharing models, affiliate programs, or embedded financial services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential collaboration opportunities.
- Develop and track key commercial KPIs to measure the success and impact of partnerships on user engagement and revenue.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and business meetings to promote our brand and build relationships.
In the first days your expected deliverables will include- Develop a business development strategy with a clear roadmap for partnership acquisition and revenue growth.
- Identify and engage with at least five high-potential vendors or service providers for potential collaboration.
- Close at least one to two strategic partnerships that provide value to our SME users.
- Establish a commercial framework and negotiation playbook for partnership agreements.
- Define and implement key performance metrics to measure the success of partnerships.
- Present a competitive analysis of relevant financial and business management tools, identifying opportunities for differentiation through partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create co-branded campaigns or promotions with early partners.
Qualifications- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles within a SaaS, fintech, or B2B technology environment.
- Strong negotiation and deal-making skills, with a track record of closing strategic partnerships.
- Understanding of SME financial management challenges and the ability to align partnerships to address these needs.
- Experience working with financial service providers, payment processors, accounting tools, or other relevant B2B service providers is a plus.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Self-starter mindset, entrepreneurial attitude, and a results-driven approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
