Job Description

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and coordinating digital and traditional marketing strategies to attract potential customer revenue.

Compensation:  The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000 annually.  This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.  Pay will be determined based on experience level.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide strategic leadership for Monro’s overall marketing, including website, internet, traditional and other marketing activities.
  • Coordinate work of Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Creative Design Manager and Brand Content Specialist as it relates to marketing to include:   
  • Website Design and content development/management
  • Search engine optimization
  • Paid search
  • Traditional/Print
  • CRM acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Brand creative development
  • Coordinate work of agencies involved in executing Monro’s marketing activities.
  • Manage web analytics and other trends, use findings to assess performance and recommend improvements regularly.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of online features and functionality. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Management Responsibility: 

The Marketing Director manages the Marketing Department team of approximately 5-8 team members and operates under the general direction of the Sr. Director Marketing.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and a minimum of 7 years working in an Advertising Agency or Consumer Marketing organization with experience in performing website development, marketing plan development, and internet marketing (SEO/SEM/PPC), or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff and management and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and change focus quickly to meet business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess critical and creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, develop and lead a team.
  • Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new and existing company specific software applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, project management reports, etc.
  • Ability to take initiative in identifying problems, analyzing data, and establishing facts in order to produce prompt practical decisions and solutions.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and fax machines.  Position requires prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
