Job Title: Inventory Management Virtual Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager with expertise in inventory control and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing stock levels, preventing stockouts, creating purchase orders, and addressing overstock issues. Familiarity with Finale Inventory software is preferred, but we are open to candidates who are quick learners and willing to adapt to new systems.
As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire inventory management process, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining accurate stock levels. You will work closely with our team to ensure the timely ordering and replenishment of stock and tackle any inventory challenges that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet demand, preventing stock-outs and minimizing excess inventory.
- Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory needs, ensuring timely restocking of products.
- Use Finale Inventory (or quickly learn it) to track and manage stock levels, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
- Identify overstock issues and work proactively to resolve them by analyzing inventory data and adjusting purchasing strategies.
- Address inventory-related challenges, from stock-outs to system discrepancies, and propose effective solutions.
- Help streamline and optimize inventory management processes for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with other team members, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth and accurate inventory flow.
- Maintain precise records and ensure data accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing contracts via DocuSign and similar administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Proven experience in inventory management, including creating purchase orders and managing stock levels.
- Familiarity with Finale Inventory software is preferred, or the ability to quickly learn and become proficient in it.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a knack for identifying and resolving inventory issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that inventory data is accurate and up to date.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively identify areas for improvement in inventory management.
- Ability to quickly understand new systems, software, and processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and suppliers.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inventory management tools or software (e.g., Finale Inventory, TradeGecko, NetSuite).
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work in a remote setting and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
