Shopify Automation Specialist VA

We are seeking a Shopify Automation Specialist to join our team and take ownership of building advanced data workflows, automations, and dashboards. This role requires deep expertise in Shopify’s GraphQL API, strong proficiency in Retool, and experience integrating various APIs, including Monday.com and Facebook’s Marketing API.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations using Shopify’s GraphQL API to support reporting, automation, and custom applications.
• Utilize Retool to build internal dashboards and tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Write and manage JavaScript-based scripts for data transformation and API calls.
• Integrate and automate workflows between Shopify, Monday.com, Facebook’s Marketing API, and other third-party services.
• Build dynamic dashboards that provide real-time insights for e-commerce performance, marketing, and operations.
• Troubleshoot API-related issues, optimize queries, and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Shopify’s GraphQL API (must have actively used it in the last 6 months).
• Experience integrating multiple data sources to create streamlined reporting and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Familiarity with Facebook’s Marketing API and its use in e-commerce marketing.
• Experience working with Monday.com’s API for automation and workflow enhancements.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for data transformations and API integrations.
• Strong expertise in Retool for building internal tools and dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with BigQuery, Google Sheets, or Zapier for data processing.
• Experience working in a high-volume e-commerce environment
• Understanding of ETL workflows for e-commerce data management.
