Job Description

The Analytics Program Manager will be responsible for managing a technical team of data analysts and data engineers supporting a global performance management program for a leading automotive OEM. In this role, you will oversee program execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data-driven insights and reporting solutions that drive operational efficiency and performance optimization.

You will manage a global team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and align program objectives with the OEM's strategic goals.

The Analytics Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Program Leadership & Strategy: leading the global Performance Management data, analytics, and reporting program, ensuring alignment with the OEM's business objectives and KPIs. In addition, defining program goals, scope, deliverables,  and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Team Management: manage and mentor a technical team of data analysts and data engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Oversee resource planning, task assignments, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team productivity.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for the global OEM, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external partners, to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Program Execution & Delivery: ensure the timely delivery of data analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and address dependencies to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Budget & Resource Management: identify program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet program objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimizations without compromising program quality.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, reporting, and program management. Identify and implement best practices to enhance program performance and deliver greater value to the OEM.
  • Global Coordination: Ensure consistency and scalability of program solutions across multiple regions and markets. Adapt program strategies to address regional and cultural differences while maintaining global alignment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data and analytics, technical program management, and team leadership, with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a must and fluency in Swedish (verbal and written) is preferred.

To succeed in the role, the ideal candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, etc.)

• 5+ years of similar program management, data analytics, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships to get decisions made, including strong communication skills.

• Analytical skills with ability to translate and communicate the meaning of the data being presented.

• Strong understanding of data analytics & reporting platforms (Tableau, SQL, Python, Databricks, or similar)

• Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams.

• Demonstrated ability to delivery complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent critical-thinking, mathematical/statistical and logic skills.

• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and ability to learn quickly.

• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
