Job Description

The Motorcraft Parts Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing/incentive programs that drive sales, brand loyalty, and customer engagement within the Automotive Parts Group. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry, customer needs, and the ability to collaborate across sales, product, and marketing teams to create effective promotions, loyalty programs, and strategic campaigns.

  • Program Development & Management:
    • Design, implement, and manage loyalty, incentive, and promotional programs for wholesale and retail customers.
    • Align programs with overall business goals, brand strategies, and sales targets.

 

  • Marketing Campaign Execution:
    • Create multi-channel marketing plans (email, digital, social media, print, events) to support program initiatives.
    • Develop promotional calendars, customer segmentation strategies, and campaign timelines.

 

  • Partnership Management:
    • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal product teams to secure program funding, co-op support, and joint promotions.
    • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and partners when needed.

 

  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze program effectiveness using KPIs (ROI, participation rates, sales lift, customer engagement).
    • Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations for optimization.

 

  • Sales Enablement:
    • Create sales tools, program guides, training materials, and other resources to empower the sales team to drive program adoption.
    • Work closely with the sales force to communicate program details and value propositions.

 

  • Customer Insights:
    • Gather and apply customer feedback and market research to refine programs and marketing strategies.

 

  • Budget Management:
    • Plan and manage program budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and delivering maximum impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or minimum 5 years of parts marketing/sales enabler experience, preferably in automotive aftermarket or B2B program marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive parts industry, distribution models, and customer channels (national accounts, retailers, installers, jobbers, dealers).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools.
  • Expert level proficiency in Office365 suite, marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with loyalty programs and customer retention strategies.
  • Expert on SAP, UDB, Salesforce, EDI, FADb or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Ford Motor Company aftersales systems and platforms
  • Event management experience (trade shows, dealer meetings, customer appreciation events).
