Your role

As a Technical Project Manager at Munich Electrification, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) for our customers. In close collaboration with the management team, you’ll serve as the primary technical and project management point of contact for customer projects, ensuring smooth development and on-time delivery. You will oversee troubleshooting, validation, and technical alignment, while managing customer-driven changes and ensuring project milestones are met. With a deep understanding of BMS requirements and their impact on system levels (vehicle or battery storage), you will assess customer needs and evaluate how external requirements affect our BMS platform. In our small, agile team, you’ll work hands-on with the product and directly communicate clearly defined requirements to cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and effective implementation across hardware, software, and production.


Your future tasks at a glance
  • Customer Interface & Requirements Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and clearly defining and delivering on customer requirements.
  • Project Delivery & Risk Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, track progress, and proactively manage project risks to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Issue Resolution & Change Management: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, managing customer-driven changes and their impact on scope and timeline.
  • Team Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate across hardware, software, and production teams to communicate requirements and ensure the smooth implementation and validation of the project deliverables.


What you bring with you
  • Educational Background: Successfully completed university degree in an engineering field.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive battery management systems (BMS) or ECU/electronics development.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with embedded C or C++ and understanding of the SCRUM process. Experience in circuit design and electric powertrains is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving & Leadership: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
  • Customer Focus & Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to customers and internal teams in English (German is a plus).
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the drive to take ownership and responsibility for project success.
