Position Overview:
As the General Manager of Maserati Central New Jersey and Bentley Edison, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's operations, including sales, service, finance, and customer relations. You will lead a dedicated team and ensure that our dealership meets its financial, customer service, and operational objectives. Your leadership will be key in driving success, fostering team collaboration, and delivering the ultimate luxury automotive experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Provide leadership and guidance to all dealership departments, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and alignment with company goals.
Customer Experience: Drive a culture of exceptional customer service across all departments, ensuring every customer receives the luxury experience they expect from Murgado Automotive Group.
Financial Oversight: Oversee the dealership’s financial performance, ensuring profitability, expense management, and adherence to budgeted goals.
Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to maximize vehicle sales and service revenue, ensuring the dealership consistently meets and exceeds its performance targets.
Employee Development: Mentor and coach department managers and staff, fostering a positive and motivating work environment that encourages professional growth and performance excellence.
Operational Excellence: Ensure dealership operations comply with Maserati, Bentley and Murgado Automotive Group standards and processes, including inventory management, sales process optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Market Strategy: Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competition to drive innovative marketing and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in an automotive dealership.
Experience working with luxury or premium automotive brands preferred (Bentley & Maserati experience is a plus).
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and dealership financials.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve ambitious goals.
Commitment to providing world-class customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Deep understanding of dealership operations, including sales, service, finance, and parts.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
