Position Overview

N-Power Medicine is hiring a Staff Business Systems Analyst to join their team reporting to the Associate Director, Software Architecture. This position will be responsible for driving successful delivery of software products through effective stakeholder management and program execution. This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, gathering software system requirements, and maintaining software documentation.


*This is a remote or hybrid on-site role, Bay Area is preferred.




Rose Objectives and Responsibilities
  • Leads business requirements analysis and creates requirements frameworks while aligning solutions with business goals and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Develops business strategy recommendations
  • Architects complex data structures, creates data governance documentation, develops system integration specs, establishes documentation standards, designs data modeling frameworks
  • Leads complex gap assessments and develops improvement processes while driving system optimization
  • Design complex Jira workflow systems and architect Confluence knowledge bases, and create advanced automation schemes and cross-tool integrations
  • Prioritizes system enhancements and drives resolution initiatives
  • Analyze and design data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
  • Creates data quality standards and establishes best practices
  • Architects enterprise-level data mapping strategies
  • Establishes data quality standards and monitoring systems
  • Designs complex data models for cross-functional systems
  • Guides technical implementation and leads complex data analysis initiatives
  • Develops new analytical tools and frameworks
  • Orchestrates cross-functional team collaboration
  • Provides strategic updates to senior management
  • Introduces innovative solutions and methodologies
  • Leads process optimization initiatives
  • Creates and maintains enterprise-level documentation
  • Conducts specialized system training sessions independently, and creates comprehensive training curricula
  • Resolves complex application issues, and performs root cause analysis of recurring problems


Education, Experience, Behavioral Competencies and Skills
  • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience 
  • Advanced analytical skills for complex system problems 
  • Experience supporting documentation of database solutions in architectural documents 
  • Experience supporting documentation of projects running on big data stack and cloud platforms 
  • Experience supporting documentation of data engineering projects 
  • Experience supporting documentation of distributed systems in architectural documents 
  • Experience supporting documentation required for release of software solutions within a regulated environment 
  • Drives projects in ambiguous environments 
  • Experience in managing program-level priorities 
  • Influences stakeholders at all levels 
  • Architects enterprise-level solutions
  • Generous, Curious & Humble


Travel Requirements 

Up to 15% of time required to travel in role (out of 100%) 


Pay Information

The expected salary range for this position is $116,000 and $174,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. N-Power Medicine (NPM) offers equity at hire as well as a discretionary annual bonus which may be available based on Company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits.
