Natron is seeking a Test Technician to support the development and test of our high-power battery systems for data center UPS and EV charging applications. The occupant of this position will work with the Product Engineering and Reliability teams to build and prepare test fixtures and units, support lifetime and short-term testing of finished products as well as components, among other duties.
Responsibilities
Follow testing standard operating procedures to support testing needs of Reliability and Certification teamsBuild and prepare test fixtures and test articles, materials and equipmentSet up, perform, and sustain long-term Reliability tests of finished products and componentsSet up and perform ad hoc, short-term Reliability and Compliance tests of finished products and componentsSupport process and design development of the products through testingLog data from tests and generate reports
Experience and Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience as electronics, mechanical, and / or test technician
Strong experience executing and updating procedures
Proficiency in Excel
Care and meticulousness when working with samples and when entering data
A positive and team-first attitude
Comfort in working at a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift and move equipment and products (assistive lifts available for heavier items)
Excellent in interpersonal skills.
Able to work in multi team environment.
Desirable:
Experience testing battery cells or other electronic devices
Experience working with electro-mechanical products
Experience with high voltage items and batteries
A degree in a science or engineering field
