Our Community Partnerships team is focused on engaging and developing our community. We’re looking for an Events Contracts Adviser to join our Events team.
About the role
This role is a great mix of event advisory and contract management, along with hands-on event coordination when required. You will provide expert advice on event management to our community so they can deliver great events. You’ll manage our events contracts and contractors and support the promotion of Council events through marketing tasks.
About you
Your natural ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders combined with your excellent organisational skills will enable efficient implementation, monitoring and recording of contracts and agreements.
We’re looking for an outgoing, solution-focussed person who is highly motivated, self-managing, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about event planning and event delivery. Equally you will need to work well under pressure to achieve deadlines and be flexible to complete both the more exciting parts of the role as well as the more routine. A reasonable level of physical health is required to enable you to help with set-up of event equipment on occasion.
