Job Overview: Giants Stadium, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Account Executive for Group Sales to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling group ticket packages, creating memorable experiences for groups of all sizes, and promoting the excitement of Giants games and events.
The primary responsibilities of the Account Executive, Group sales role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for meeting & exceeding annual revenue goals specifically tailored to Group Sales but will have the ability to cross sell other revenue streams
- The position will be accountable for defined levels of activity including outbound calls, booking face to face & virtual appointments, conducting stadium tours, self-prospecting & social selling across all group ticket verticals
- Implement and execute a business plan to reach individual and department goals
- Contribute to planning and implementing new Group Fan Experiences & Events
- Responsible for preparing and executing sales presentations and closing sales via phone, in-office meetings, virtual appointments, and sales tours at MetLife Stadium
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and effective follow up with prospective clients in order to build relationships and drive revenue
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
- Develop new leads and create new revenue opportunities through various prospecting efforts, sales events, referral opportunities, client entertainment, and networking events
- Contribute positively to a competitive sales team culture while developing strong working relationships with all team members and participating in all team meetings and training sessions
- Utilize company CRM system and resources to manage accounts, pipeline, and productivity
Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree or commensurate work experience in Business, Sales, Service or Marketing, or another related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of group sales or equivalent sales experience in the sports marketing and/or related sales field.
- History as a top revenue producer with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals
- Candidate should possess excellent time management, communication and organizational skills in order to effectively manage a large volume of accounts
- Candidate should be able to think outside the box and pivot conversations in a fluent manner
- Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude. Should be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within organization
- Candidate should possess both the personal and communication skills and presence to conduct face-to-face, as well as, virtual presentations
- Candidate should possess the confidence, knowledge and experience to conduct meetings with c-level business executives, & Organization Leaders
- Prior professional experience utilizing Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform for activity and pipeline management.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- The ability and desire to work long and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays & all game days
- The ability to perform all job responsibilities from a home/remote work environment for a yet-to-be determined amount of time and as needed in the future.
