Investor Migrant Manager - West Coast

This role is based in our New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) San Francisco office.

By supporting New Zealand businesses, we boost New Zealand's economy and reputation and help to share what's special about New Zealand with the rest of the world. 

 


What you’ll be doing - Te whakamahere

 

This role is a critical part of our investment attraction strategy and is primarily responsible for the attraction and management of our investor migrants from the West Coast of the United States.

 

This role will build and maintain a strong relationship pipeline of quality investor migrants. You will do this through:

-          Leading the execution of our market promotion strategy presenting New Zealand as a great place to reside and invest. Put differently, this is networking with Americans and Canadians interested in residing and investing in New Zealand.

-          Leading our engagement with investor migrants and working with Immigration New Zealand while leveraging the expertise of New Zealand-based private sector experts in law, immigration and investment to facilitate their visa process.

What you’ll need to be successful – Ō Pūkenga 


·       Strong commercial acumen, with a demonstrated understanding of the current business and investment environment. 

·       Strategic capability, with a particular focus on the identification of investors with the capability and desire to make investments suitable for our investor migrant programme.  

·       Proven ability to network and influence stakeholders and partners. 

·       Strong networking skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships.  

·       Ability to access key decision makers within business and have the market credibility and contacts to “open the right doors” to meeting new people appropriate for New Zealand.

·       A tertiary qualification in Psychology, International Relations, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy or related fields.

Indicative salary range for this role is between approximately $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience (inclusive of a metallic platinum medical insurance plan, including dental and vision coverage).
