Remote-based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Job Description

As a Senior Sales Trainer, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive sales training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of sales processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Training Facilitation: Conduct training programs for Sales, focusing on enhancing product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement. 
  • Sales Preparation: Ensure sales teams are well-prepared to effectively communicate product features, benefits, value, and data to potential customers. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Solutions, and Sales teams to align training content with product strategies and compliance requirements. 
  • LMS Management: Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) to efficiently deliver training content and ensure seamless integration of training materials and assessments. 
  • Resource Development: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create and maintain learning tools, playbooks, and resources. 
  • Digital Platform Training: Train sales representatives on the effective use of digital platforms, CRM systems, and presentation materials. 
  • Support Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles. 

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales training or a related field. 
  • Sales Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and best practices. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Presentation Skills: Strong ability to deliver engaging and effective presentations. 
  • Coaching Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales team members. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and environments. 
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using training software and tools. 
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in Curriculum Development/Systemic Design. 
  • Expertise in Instructional Design/Strategies. 
  • Proven track record in Sales Skills Development. 
  • Knowledge of Organizational Development/Change Management. 
  • Ability to conduct Needs Assessments. 
  • Skills in Process Improvement & Performance Metrics. 
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS). 
  • Ability to implement Best Practices. 
  • Experience working on global teams and training across regions.
  • Knowledge and experience in the CPG industry or consumer data and analytics. 

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $92,000 - $140,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
