We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join NORIT on a temporary contract basis (~1 year 8 months).
HR Operations includes several critical disciplines that support organization: data management and reporting, compliance, centralized services.
In this role, you will get an opportunity to establish practices connected to these disciplines from scratch or advance those that were initiated just recently. This opportunity is a great fit for an individual who enjoys creating structured ways of working starting in an environment that does not yet have standardized processes. The ideal candidate will be the one who has an analytical and data driven approach, while being able to communicate effectively, liaise and form solutions with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- HRIS Management: manage and maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensure data accuracy and integrity, generate and manage regular reports, analyze HR data and extract key metrics on a set regularity. Work with system provider to understand and drive enhancements to the system,
- Compliance: ensure HR operations comply with company policies, local labor law, and HR controls. Work with stakeholders to enhance compliance practices,
- Centralized Services: provide support to the organization by managing a selection of HR services centrally, that will include employee leave administration for several locations, managing outsources payroll for certain locations, collaboration and management of EOR, employee lifecycle survey administration, car fleet administration, etc.,
- Special Projects: Lead and participate in HR projects oriented towards HR process mapping, process review, development of SOPs and policies, etc. These projects may be linked to the following HR disciplines: payroll, compensation, benefits, vendor management, HR data, etc. Take part in principle annual HR programs such as merit review and bonus administration to facilitate proper data handling in these processes.
- 3+ years of previous experience working with HRIS, HR master data, reports and analytics,
- Previous experience and good understanding of key HR operational processes - payroll, compensation and benefits administration, etc.,
- Strong user of Excel, other analytical BI tools would be an advantage. Ability to collect, organize and analyze data,
- Previous experience working with process development and improvements, documentation and development SOPs,
- Resilience and ability to work in an unstructured environment with the goal of creating structure,
- Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing. Ability to proactively build positive working relationships with international colleagues,
- Fluent English written and spoken,
- University education in Business, Analytical or HR field.
