Functional Transactions & Compliance

• Accurately and efficiently process daily cash applications and related functional transactions in accordance with company policies
• Maintain data integrity across financial systems
• Review and validate internal and external supporting documentation
• Ensure all transactions maintain accuracy and compliance throughout the process
• Follow up on escalations and ensure appropriate approvals are in place based on pre-defined thresholds

Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and disputes (basic to advanced) in collaboration with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service
• Identify process and data gaps while troubleshooting issues and escalating as needed
• Support business partners by communicating resolutions and helping prevent future recurrence

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform month-end account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash application entries
• Prepare and issue journal entries with proper documentation as needed
• Maintain and update daily and end-of-month reports
• Contribute to KPI tracking and reporting across billing and cash application areas

Operational Excellence

• Prioritize workload according to team goals and strategic projects
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in process/system improvements
• Demonstrate working knowledge of operational systems and finance tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
• Experience in cash applications, cash reconciliation, refunds, and journal entries
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or other ERP/CRM tools is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools
