CPA Certified Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee the accounting department's daily operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements in compliance with USGAAP
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, collaborate with other departments, and assist in budget preparation and financial planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA certification
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
