Job Title: Digital Marketing Intern 

Location: Toronto, ON  

Term: 4 months (May to August 2025)

Reporting into the Digital Director, this individual will have an opportunity to learn and apply practical skills to unlock brand awareness in a digital space. You’ll gain the foundational skillset needed to work with large influencers as well as create viral, engaging and top of mind social content. This is an opportunity to collaborate across functions and build meaningful relationships through a variety of exciting projects! 


In this role you will ....
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and lead the development of viral influencer content on TikTok and Instagram to grow awareness and market share. 
  • Identify, secure and onboard influencers into our best-in-class ambassador program. 
  • Nurture existing influencer relationships through on-going initiatives including sending packages, creating monthly briefs and more 
  • Pull together weekly reports using industry leading tools like Google Analytics and Aspire. 
  • Schedule weekly social media posts including editing and caption writing. 
  • Participate in content brainstorms and help film “edu-taining” content for our brand channels 
  • Work with external partners like retailers and farm partners to make engaging content for our followers. 
  • Make recommendations on areas to optimize and pivot using data-backed insights. 
  • Curate and suggest user generated content to fuel paid ads engine 
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • Currently enrolled in a business, marketing or communications program 
  • Strong communication skills. You have a talent for sharing information in a digestible, concise and engaging manner. 
  • On top of internet culture, social issues and it’s ever-changing landscape. You stay curious! 
  • Understand that marketing is just as much creativity as it is about geeking over data. You know how to use data to inform your decisions and recommendations. 
  • Can juggle multiple projects and relationships at a time in a fast past atmosphere. 
  • You bring your A game when it comes to collaboration and ensure all teams are looped in to relevant details

Hybrid Work 


At Open Farm, we believe in the power of collaboration, meaningful connections, and enjoying our work together—fury friends included! That’s why we’ve adopted a structured hybrid approach that allows you the benefit of a reduced commute while still building strong workplace relationships. Currently, all employees are expected to be in the office two days per week at minimum, with Tuesday and Thursday as our anchor days. In addition to this, each month our Leadership team dedicates three consecutive days onsite to continue to foster alignment and connection across the team. During this time we expect everyone to join us in person to do the same. Please note: our hybrid approach may evolve over time as we adapt to the needs of our team and business.
