AI Project Manager

Optimiza is on the lookout for an experienced AI Project Manager to lead our AI initiatives and drive projects focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of AI projects, ensuring that we deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage and coordinate projects focusing on AI technologies, including natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to execute AI projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Establish project timelines, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure project tracking, reporting, and documentation are maintained.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and methodologies to incorporate best practices into project execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in AI or data science fields.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
