Social Media Lead

We are currently seeking a creative, highly skilled and strategic Social Media Lead to join our dynamic and innovative marketing team. As the Social Media Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media strategy, driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty, and interacting with current and potential clients across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives and brand identity
  • Create engaging social media content that resonates with the target audience, maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of social media accounts across multiple platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Monitor social media trends and best practices, staying updated with industry advancements and incorporating them into the social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and PR, to ensure seamless integration of social media initiatives with broader marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, leveraging targeting and analytics tools to optimise performance and drive results.
  • Monitor and analyse key social media metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated with emerging social media platforms and technologies, evaluating their potential impact and recommending innovative strategies to capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Foster relationships with influencers and brand advocates, leveraging their reach to amplify the brand message and engage with the target audience.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to differentiate the brand and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to social media marketing and advertising.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Additional certifications in social media marketing are a plus.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in managing social media strategies and campaigns, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices, with an eye for emerging trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media audiences and engagement, with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive social media content.
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools to monitor performance and extract actionable insights.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and develop unique social media strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimise social media performance.
  • Understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to social media marketing and advertising.
