Perform all inventory movements to include but not limited to, receiving, issuing to and returning from the manufacturing lines and shipping. Organization and traceability are a focus for food safety. All necessary to service our customers and support the shipping of Our Home products. While maintaining the company’s expense control and operating guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Assists the Inventory Control Coordinator in the daily receiving and shipping of all products.
2. Record keeping for traceability on issuing and returning materials to the manufacturing lines.
3. Responsible for carrying out daily assignments following all established SOPs.
4. Ensure work is done with compliance to all food safety, sanitation, and safety policies and procedures.
5. Adheres to the daily inventory controls.
6. Other responsibilities as assigned by Our Home management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· One to two years related experience and training preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Able to learn and have an understanding of the extrusion process
· Ability to do repetitive tasks, detail oriented, understanding of the food industry and safety standards
· Basic Math Skills Required
· Exceptional grammar, writing, and documentation skills required.
· Teamwork and communication skills required
· Ability to coach coworkers for enhanced adherence to policy
· Attention to detail, critical thinking and a sense of urgency is a must
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell
· Occasionally lift/move 50 lbs
· Specific vision includes the following: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
· Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes/airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration
· Forklift Operation required
