About The Role:
Your mission in this role is to grow the Paired community and expand our brand awareness through strategic and creative social media initiatives. You will own and manage all social media channels, currently existing and any new ones you identify as strategically relevant, to maximize reach and engagement. We are looking for someone with creative sparkle who has a clear POV on what makes shareable and engaging content. This role is perfect for an all-around social strategist who excels at ideation, inspires cross-functional collaboration, and seamlessly rolls up their sleeves to execute, bringing strategy to life.
What Your Role Encompasses
- Develop, own, and execute Paired’s social audience across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and community management strategy to align with business objectives
- Identify the most strategic social channels and create tailored plans for delivering compelling, platform-specific content
- Take leadership in the collaboration with the creative team and in-house relationship expert to produce highly engaging and shareable (think: out of the box) social media content from concept to delivery
- Oversee monthly content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting, engagement, and interaction across all channels
- Monitor and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster meaningful connections
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions, conversion rates)
- Provide regular reports on social media performance (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and generate data-driven insights and action plans
- Serve as the voice of Paired’s users and followers, working with consumer insights to understand audience preferences and needs
- Define and implement a community management strategy, establishing benchmarks and workflows to foster and grow an engaged community
- Proven experience as a Senior Social Media Manager for a successful mobile app or D2C digital product
- Thrives in an outcome-driven startup environment, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to achieve goals
- Deep knowledge of the social media landscape and audiences, both in platform growth and the creator ecosystem
- Analytical capabilities to set up reporting, analysing and drawing insights from marketing and social media analytics
- Strong project management skills from inception to completion, anticipating any roadblocks along the way
- Creative thinking skills and ability to push others to think outside the box to raise the bar on socials and beyond
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Social media-obsessed and up-to-date on the latest trends
- Bonus points: a proven track record of going viral
- A valid US, UK or EU passport or working permit (no sponsorship requirements)
- Yearly salary between $100-120k in the USA and £65-70k in the UK (role is also available in other EU markets, the salary will be slightly adjusted to the cost of living in your country)
