Position Summary:
The Brand Strategy team at Penta is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Copywriter will lead the development of compelling and strategic copy that aligns with client goals, brand strategy, and brand guidelines. Additionally, the Senior Copywriter will consistently collaborate with designers, strategists, managing directors, and partners across multiple teams and projects, supporting both client work and the development of the firm's own publications. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and collaborative Senior Copywriter with deep-seated intellectual curiosity to make a substantial impact on client projects while also helping define the firm's copywriting best practices for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Create effective copy solutions that support client objectives and drive results across multiple platforms, including campaign development, digital, print, social, and more
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, designers, and other creatives to ensure a cohesive approach to campaign development and execution
- Provide strategic and creative direction for copywriting initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy
- Translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences, including niche high-value groups such as policymakers, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Develop copy for multichannel campaigns, including TV, radio, OOH (Out-of-Home), digital, paid social, events, activations, and more
- Lead the creation, editing, and proofreading of copy to maintain the highest editorial standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all deliverables
- Mentor and guide junior copywriters, fostering creativity, professional growth, and collaboration within the team
- Present copy concepts to clients and effectively communicate the creative and strategic rationale behind the work
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in copywriting, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the team’s creative output
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in copywriting; past experience in a creative agency is preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of copy work across various channels, industries and conceptual campaigns
- Proven ability to manage creative projects from concept to completion, with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Experience mentoring junior writers and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and strategies to clients and internal teams
- Knowledge of brand strategy and the ability to create copy that supports and enhances brand positioning
- Familiarity with managing external partners, including photographers, illustrators, and production teams, to ensure seamless project execution
- Bonus points: you’ve worked on creative projects in complex, or regulated, industry environments like Healthcare, Telecommunications, Financial Services, or others
Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be $75,000 -$125,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location:
This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote, with a preference for candidates who can work Eastern Time hours.
