The Opportunity
Weâre looking for a Sales Director based in Toronto to take full ownership of new BPO sales into the U.S. market. This is a high-impact, sole contributor role responsible for closing $1M in new business annually. Youâll represent the Pharmbills brand with U.S.-based clients, drive full-cycle B2B sales, and help shape the next chapter of our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and exceed a $1M+ annual sales quota focused on U.S. clients
- Lead the full sales cycleâfrom outbound prospecting and lead generation to closing multi-year BPO contracts
- Identify, target, and build relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, VP-level) across U.S. companies
- Customize and present value-driven workforce solutions based on client needs and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to scope solutions and ensure successful handoffs
- Maintain an active and accurate pipeline in CRM, with strong forecasting discipline
- Represent Pharmbills at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings (30% U.S. travel)
- Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to position Pharmbills competitively
- Provide ongoing feedback to marketing and leadership to refine messaging, materials, and GTM strategy
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years at a Director level or higher
- Demonstrated success selling outsourcing or offshoring services (BPO/KPO) into the U.S. market
- Proven ability to close mid-to-large sized deals ($100K+ ARR per client)
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long sales timelines
- Strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales methodologies
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and disciplined sales process management
- Strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities and create tailored proposals
- High degree of autonomy, accountability, and ownership in remote or distributed work environments
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with senior-level stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the U.S. (~30%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in selling to U.S.-based healthcare organizations, payers, providers, or revenue cycle entities
- Experience working in or selling for a fast-growth or startup BPO
- Familiarity with outsourcing trends across industries like insurance, real estate, and healthcare
- Existing network of U.S. contacts in relevant sectors
- Knowledge of compliance and data security concerns in outsourcing (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus
