Senior FS Software Engineer (Front-End Leaning)

In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to create a seamless, intuitive and personalized user experience. You'll focus on both enhancing UX and refining platform libraries for consistency. This highly technical role involves working across the stack - micro frontends with React.js and TypeScript, as well as microservices, APIs and databases built with Node.js and TypeScript. Our backend relies on event-driven architecture with REST APIs, offering exciting challenges in scalability and performance.

Our engineering team operates in independent tribes, ensuring flat hierarchies and scalability. Each tribe is self-sufficient with full ownership of its area. Developers enjoy a lot of freedom: they choose missions to work on, and after completing a mission, they return to the launchpad to recover and prepare for the next one. The technologies we use: 

-> Frontend: Javascript/TypeScript, React.js. 

-> Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, and Fastify. Some PHP.

-> Storage and messaging: MySQL, Kafka, Redis. 

-> Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.

• Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality, well-tested code on time
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews, offering constructive feedback to your peers
• Collaborate with backend developers to guarantee seamless integration of frontend and backend services through scalable and reliable code
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and performance
• Take ownership of deployments, monitoring, and maintaining live services
• Participate in an on-call rotation, swiftly addressing alerts and resolving production incidents
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and helping them grow and succeed
• Continuously optimize and enhance the developer experience

• Proven track record in software development with an emphasis on delivering results
• Demonstrated passion for engineering through personal projects and a strong product sense
• Experience with Javascript (ES6+), Typescript, Node.js, React.js
• Experience with some of the following technologies is an advantage: MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka 
• Able to implement scalable UI components and libraries that several frontend microservices can use
• Ability to step outside of your comfort zone, adapt quickly, and deliver solutions efficiently
• Solid understanding of security threats and how to mitigate them
• Past contributions to the open-source community are a plus
• Experience with multi-data center services is a significant advantage
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
