Marketing Data Analyst

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst (flexible working time and partial remote work possible) to join our growing team in Madrid, Spain. 

At Pix4D, we're scaling our marketing team with a strong focus on being truly data-driven. We’re looking for a smart, proactive and hands-on Marketing Data Analyst to help us make better decisions, automate what can be automated, and uncover opportunities hidden in our data.

As the Marketing Data Analyst, your mission will be to bring clarity, insight, and automation to our marketing operations while working closely with the Growth Marketeer. You’ll transform scattered data into decision-ready insights and help build a data culture within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain our data infrastructure:
    • Identify Data Sources: e.g., Google Ads, GA4, HubSpot, Mixpanel, Algolia, Sprout Social, Google Search Console, Firebase.
    • Choose an ETL Tool: Select a tool like Funnel / BigQuery that supports your data sources.
    • Set Up a Data Warehouse: Optimize & Configure GoogleCloud (BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow,).
    • Connect BI Tools: Looker Studio.
    • Present findings in a clear and compelling way, using storytelling and visualization tools such as Looker Studio. 
  • Analyze web traffic, user behavior, campaign performance, and lead/customer data to uncover actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure the reliability and consistency of the data we use — by validating definitions, spotting inconsistencies, and maintaining clear documentation.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key marketing KPIs and present them clearly to stakeholders.

Important: We’re not looking for someone to simply execute tasks. We need a self-starter with strong initiative—someone who builds their own roadmap, identifies gaps and opportunities, and actively shapes the role. If you're waiting for instructions, this isn’t the right fit.

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within marketing, product, or growth teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen—you understand what metrics matter and why.
  • Solid experience with tools in the Google ecosystem: BigQuery, GA4, Firebase, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with APIs, Apps Script, and data integration tools like Zapier
  • Experience working with marketing platforms such as HubSpot CRM, Google Ads, Algolia, and Mixpanel.
  • Excellent communication skills—you can translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Proficient English language skills, written and spoken

Good to have: 

  • Experience automating workflows and data pipelines using Apps Script, APIs, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, attribution, or audience segmentation in SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with Funnel.io or equivalent ETL/data pipeline platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and basic scripting for data transformation and automation.
