Job Description

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) Marketing team at Visa is a dynamic and dedicated team with a strong focus on performance. Our mission is to lead and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness and generate demand through the creation and curation of Product and B2B Marketing Strategies. Success is achieved through collaboration with cross-functional teams across Visa to accelerate product and solution adoption, migration, and retention, ultimately driving business growth.

Visa Commercial Solutions offers more than 50 solutions that streamline payments, manage expenses, improve cash flow, optimize working capital, and simplify procurement processes for businesses of all sizes, from large corporates to small businesses to governments.​

Role summary:

As the Regional Senior Manager for the CEMEA region and based in Dubai, you will report to both the B2B marketing Head of CEMEA and Global Head of Marketing for VCS. You will be responsible for leading regional marketing programs for Visa’s Growth Engine in the CEMEA region. In this role, you will connect our regional product strategy to the tactics required to drive success in sales and marketing. Utilizing strategic insights and data, you will develop positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with buyers, enabling our sales teams to thrive. You will collaborate with global and communication teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative programs and marketing initiatives to achieve CEMEA’s objectives.

Key responsibilities:

Be a strategic leader:

1. Develop regional marketing strategies in close collaboration with global, regional, and sub-regions to engage clients and achieve Visa’s business and marketing goals.

2. Become an expert on our target audiences, advocate for them within Visa, understand their buying criteria, and use these insights to develop compelling value propositions and messaging.

3. Create marketing materials that clearly articulate value propositions, positioning, and messaging, and activate experiential strategies aligned with regional priorities.

4. Lead, direct, and manage agencies to accomplish strategic marketing projects that support business objectives and drive tangible outcomes.

Drive Visa Commercial Solution ecosystem awareness, thought leadership and client/industry engagement:

1. Collaborate with Global Product & B2B Marketing to shape industry thought leadership content and promote it across B2B ecosystem audiences.

2. Partner with regional Communications leads to plan and execute thought leadership programs with and through media partners.

3. Strategically plan and execute key client/industry events designed to engage our target market through rich content and experiences while positioning Visa as the partner of choice and dive demand for our commercial solutions. 

4. Deploy B2B awareness and lead generation campaigns targeting Financial Institutions, FinTechs, BPSPs, Strategic Partners, Large Mid-Market Commercial Accounts, SMBs, and Government Institutions.

5. Localize, build, and deploy sales enablement content to assist Visa Commercial Solution product & sales teams in engaging clients and partners.

6. Localize and launch Visa.com and owned channel content to support B2B campaigns.

7. Develop and activate marketing strategies and events to advance an always-on content strategy, building awareness and driving demand.

8. Accelerate end-user adoption and usage by taking the lead to drive client marketing initiatives in alignment with respective VCS & AE team/s, supporting cardholder activation, acquisition, and usage for either market-wide campaigns/issuers. Partner closely with country Client Marketing teams on best practices on client marketing initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible business experience in Marketing, Product Management, or B2B Marketing.
  •  Experience in developing and managing partner programs is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, approaching challenges with thoughtfulness, drive, and urgency.
  • Audience-focused mindset with a proven track record of discovering key insights.
  • Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including impactful presentation abilities.
  • Team player who adds energy, ideas, and fun to the team and corporate culture.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid financial and analytical acumen with a strong ROI orientation.
  • Data-driven and analytical capability to yield insights for decision-making.
  • Regional sensibilities and an empathetic outlook to work well with other markets and cultures around the world.

  • Strong internal team and external client stakeholder management with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style; able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
