POSITION TITLE: Regional Lead Clinician-St Louis Metro Area
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt
REPORTS TO: Chief Medical Officer, Associate Medical Director
SALARY: $107,559-$125,001/Year
*This position is eligible for up to a $12,000 sign on bonus paid out over the first year of employment and requires a two-year employment commitment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Lead Clinician assists in ensuring quality medical services in accordance with PPFA and PPGR
Medical Standards and Guidelines, and trains and supervises PPGR Advance Practice Clinicians. Requires
travel to the four St Louis metro area health centers and some evening and Saturday hours. This role is 80%
clinical and 20% administrative.
PRIMARY DUTIES PERFORMED
Direct Patient Care
• Work in health centers providing comprehensive clinical sexual and reproductive health care to all patients
inclusive of all genders and gender identities, in accordance with evidence based protocols.
• Perform all existing and new service lines offered to patients by the affiliate.
• Obtain a complete health history, perform physical assessment/examination, education, counseling,
evaluation, and management.
• Order, obtain and interpret appropriate laboratory tests.
• Provide patient-centered counseling and education about family planning methods to patients, and manage
patients’ problems and questions.
• Make referrals and follow up with patients in accordance with the standards and guidelines of PPFA and of
PPGR.
• Complete accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner in EHR
• Lead care delivery, including appropriate delegation of clinical tasks to the health care team.
• Ensures an environment that honors patient autonomy.
• Adhere to affiliate policies on professionalism, wait time in-clinic and on the phone, and the system for
addressing client complaints
• Active member of clinician team. Attends meetings as indicated. Active participation in discussion and
decisions about the provision of care in the clinics
Clinical Oversight and Supervision
• Provide and coordinate the proctoring and mentoring of new APCs.
• Work regularly with APCs to review clinical care, documentation, medical billing and coding, and team
building.
• Perform annual performance appraisals for APCs.
• Educates all clinic staff on an on-going basis on medical information consistent with services provided
• Foster an environment of continuous learning for the APCs. Assist in coordinating monthly APC meeting
and present medical topics as needed.
• Coordinate APC schedules and time off requests.
• Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board Certified Advanced Practice Clinician with at least 3 years’ experience in sexual and reproductive
health care.
• Clinical leadership experience preferred.
• Missouri and Illinois licenses are required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a controlled substance registration & DEA.
• Maintain all licensure and certification up to date. Current licensure and certification is a condition of
employment.
• Able to function in a collaborative practice agreement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and to think and act strategically.
• Ability to make sound, ethical, independent decisions consistent with approved medical protocols.
• Understanding of and commitment to health care and patients’ involvement in their health care.
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to assist team members at all times. Handle
communication problems with other staff members directly, constructively and with sensitivity.
• Ability to effectively work with diverse populations.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Requires mobility to provide physical exams.
