Job Title: Junior Estimator – Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Hunts Point, Bronx
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience and education level)

Triumph Construction is a leading heavy civil contractor based in New York City, specializing in roadway reconstruction, water and sewer mains, concrete structures, site development, and excavation. We’re proud to work on some of NYC’s most critical infrastructure projects.

We are currently seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college junior, senior, or recent graduate who is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and is interested in beginning a career in construction estimating.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a sharp, motivated, and driven individual who wants to grow in the construction industry. You don’t need prior experience—we’re happy to train the right person. If you have 1–2 years of experience, that’s great—but if not, no problem! What matters most is a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to think critically.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing cost estimates for public and private civil projects
• Review project drawings, plans, and specifications
• Perform basic quantity take-offs under guidance
• Work closely with senior estimators and project managers
• Support subcontractor/vendor outreach and pricing
• Attend site walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings (as needed)
• Learn estimating software and participate in real bid processes

Ideal Candidate

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Civil Engineering program
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills
• A team player with initiative
• No estimating experience required—but eagerness to grow is a must
