Join our squad at Popmenu as a Summer Intern! Working at our Atlanta office M-Th and flexible work on Fridays - either working remotely or taking the day off. This part-time internship working up to 35 hours a week at $18/hr offers a unique opportunity to dive into the Popmenu world within a vibrant software company. Working alongside our team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience with our departments like engineering, sales, business, marketing and human resources.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Gain experience specific to your major or bachelors degree
  • Research: conduct research to support ongoing projects. This could involve gathering information, analyzing data, or compiling reports.
  • Administrative Support: May assist with tasks like scheduling, organizing files, data entry, and answering phone calls or emails.
  • Assisting with Projects: may be assigned specific tasks related to current projects. This may include helping with design, editing, coding, writing reports, or providing creative input.
  • Documentation: writing or proofreading reports, meeting notes, manuals, or creating presentations is another common task for interns.
  • Social Media/Marketing Support: depending on your bandwidth and if it pertains to your department, assist with managing social media accounts, creating content, or helping with marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Service/Client Interaction: depending on the department, our interns may have the opportunity to engage with clients, customers, or stakeholders, providing support or answering queries.
  • Shadowing and Learning: you will spend time shadowing senior employees or attending meetings to observe how professionals in the industry work.
  • Technical/Operational Support: In technical fields (e.g., IT, engineering), our interns might assist with troubleshooting, testing, or supporting the development of systems and software.
  • Event Planning/Coordination: If relevant to the department, our interns may help with event planning, coordination, or logistics for meetings, conferences, or workshops.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with team members, our interns contribute to brainstorming sessions, group projects, and team discussions to develop their teamwork and communication skills.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a BA/BS in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
  • A keen interest in software product management and integrations within a tech environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively present integration-focused ideas.
  • Desire to learn about agile and scrum processes, with a focus on integration challenges.
  • Eager to manage, analyze, and validate large sets of skills

  • Excellent at managing time-sensitive tasks and eager to engage in multiple projects, with a focus on quality assurance and prioritization.
