Job Description

About Traineeship

The Trainee HR Executive will gain valuable experience working within the Human Resources team. You will play a key role in supporting our HR operations and assisting with various projects. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about HR processes in a tech company and develop strong administrative and analytical skills.

We are looking for young enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career in the HR field. If you have the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly then the below applies to you:

  • Assist in analyzing HR data, developing reports and preparing presentations.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling and coordinating sessions.
  • Help maintain team member records as per company standards.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist in organizing company events and training sessions.
  • Follow up on team member inquiries and assist with HR communications.
  • Carry out responsibilities as assigned by team leads and department heads.

Qualifications

  • BBA/MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from a reputed university. 
  • 6 months to 1 year of working experience;

Must have:

  • Basic Management and Human Resource theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with HR management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of HR software is an advantage.

Additional Information

Things to consider

  • This is a Trainee position under “Portonics Trainee Program (PTP)”.
  • We're a global team working in different countries. Language Proficiency in both Bangla & English is required.
  • The trainee position is going to be Hybrid mostly.
  • You will get the opportunity to work with the smartest team and some of the largest and highest-traffic applications and software services.
  • Must be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  • Ability to learn and teach new technologies and skills as new technology is introduced.
