The Opportunity 


We are seeking a Director/Senior Director, Precision Medicine to join our scientificteam. The Director will lead Clinical Partnershipstrategy working closely with theChief Scientific Officer and key cross-functional collaborators to developinnovative diagnostics solutions. The primary role will be to oversee clinical partnerships in cancer and select auto-immune disease areas, driving execution, ensuring scientific alignment, and delivering results.

What You'll Do
  • Working closely with internal teams (including translational leads, computational leads, business development, regulatory and legal leads), develop and own a comprehensive academic and institutional clinical partnership plan thataccelerates the development ofimpactful, precision medicine enablingdiagnostics. 
  • End-to-end management of key academic relationships, including definition of the scientific and clinical goals, contracting and delivery of goals on or ahead of time. Contribute to the development of indication area strategiesand ensure the alignment of clinical partnership plans with said strategies.  
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), principal investigators, and research consortia in indications areas of strategic interest, expanding the partnership opportunity, and accelerating the development of our diagnostic test portfolio  
  • Working with the broader scientific team and external collaborators, ensure robust communication of Precede’s science and findings at major academic meetings and support peer reviewed publication  
  • Support and in some cases, own the development and execution of advisory boards to inform the Precede strategy, bringing the clinical voice into Precede. Become an expert on the science of epigenomics and on the emerging treatment landscape in indications of interest to enable partnership discussions and partnership strategy development. 
  • Collaborate with legal and IP teams to draft agreements, patents, and partnership terms. 
  • Stay informed on evolving regulatory landscapes and reimbursement pathways for precision oncology diagnostics and ensure developments are reflected in the clinical strategy 


  • Advanced degree in oncology, molecular biology, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in translational science orclinical science, with at least 5 years leading external collaborations enabling product development, ideally diagnostic product development 
  • Ability and track-record of managing academic partnerships across multiple disease areas, with deep experience across several cancer indications  
  • Experience in leading advisory boards, delivering impactful presentations at major scientific meetings, driving publication, and integrating new technologies into practice guidelines. 
  • You see challenges as opportunities and maintain focus to deliver results in a fast-moving environment. 
  • You think creatively to solve problems and keep programs progressing efficiently. 
  • Strong organizational skills to lead multiple projects and align stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
