Intro and job overview:

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins June 9th and ends on August 15th. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The Marketing Analytics Intern will work closely with the Marketing team.

The Marketing Analyst Intern will have an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of data analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating Google Analytics data into Snowflake, a powerful cloud data platform. You'll also create dynamic and insightful reports on web KPIs and trends using Tableau, a leading data visualization tool. This hands-on experience will allow you to work closely with our marketing team, providing valuable insights that drive business decisions and enhance our digital strategy.

Responsibilities and duties:

Configure and integrate Google Analytics 4 (GA4) data into Snowflake
Ensure that all relevant data points are accurately captured and stored for analysis
Create a comprehensive dashboard that visualizes key trends and metrics related to web performance
Monitor and improve the overall performance of the website by analyzing metrics such as page load times, user engagement, and conversion rates

Requirements and qualifications:

Precisely's internship program is for rising junior and senior undergraduate students graduating after August 2025.
We prefer candidates located in Pacific Time Zone; however, all time zones are welcome to apply
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
Data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
Interest in developing data visualization and presentation skills to effectively communicate findings.
Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams to achieve marketing goals.
Interest in understanding marketing analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL for data manipulation (preferred).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
