Who We Are 

As a Precision Vehicle Holdings company, FLEXRail Solutions was originally created in 2021. FLEXRail Solutions provides intermodal optionality to industrial customers, allowing for better long-term service and pricing, beginning with our rail terminal in Fort Wayne, IN.

What You’ll Do 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: 

• Ensure a safe and harassment and discrimination free work environment by following and enforcing all safety rules and procedures, all company policies, applicable laws, and Precision Values 

• Responsible for inspecting chocks that have been put down by loaders 

• Climb in and out of train cars to inspect chocks 

• Reapply chocks as needed to ensure we are in compliance with AAR standards and to ensure that the product arrives at the next destination free of damage 

• All other duties as required for safe, efficient, effective, and compliant operations as assigned by manager 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

• Proven foundation and knowledge of all aspects of finished vehicle logistics including experience with Finished Vehicle Logistics Software 

• Ability to operate handheld scanner or other required equipment 

• Ability to climb ladders in and out of train cars and to move through tight spaces 

• Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a vehicle to exact positions 

• Ability to drive a motor vehicle safely (may include driving up to an hour or more at one time) 

• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow work instructions 

• Ability to work in a team environment 

• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license 

• Must pass driver eligibility requirements 

• Ability to pass a drug screen 

• Ability to pass a criminal background check 

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. 

• The employee is required to converse and listen in office and industrial settings (indoor & outdoor; noise level is high at times). 

• The employee is frequently required to move about and/or remain stationary on concrete and uneven surfaces for extended periods of time (4-8 hours). 

• The employee must work outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods of time. 

• The employee is frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. 

• The employee is required to conduct themselves safely while working in an active shipping and rail yard. 

• The employee is required to safely enter and exit customer cars, railcars, and other equipment. 

• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, ascend or descend ladders safely at heights of 10 feet or more, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
