We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our Hospitality team

 As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for actively selling PressReader products and services to new hospitality clients within your assigned region. In this role, you will prioritize delivering high-quality solutions efficiently to meet client needs. You will also represent the company at industry events and through participation in various trade organizations, while identifying larger business opportunities within the hospitality sector.

In this role, you will:

Sales

  • Sell PressReader products and services to new hospitality partners, outside of existing preferred supplier or master brand agreements, consistently reaching targets set for volume of sales (both financial and number of sales).
  • Initiate outbound communications (emails, calls, and other methods) to engage prospects, identify decision makers and readiness to purchase, build a pipeline, and close sales.
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches to generate interest in PressReader products and services.
  • May include a variety of products and services, including PressReader core service, title add-ons, or other services.
  • Act as PressReader representative at various trade events and within trade organizations, with the goal of driving new and incremental business for the department.

Lead Generation:

  • As a true salesperson at heart, approximately a significant part/portion of your leads will be self-generated through existing relationships, research and cold calling.
  • Evaluate various leads provided by Business Development Managers and through other corporate lead-gen activities to further develop pipeline, leading to success in achieving sales targets.
  • Conduct research and gather information on targeted hospitality partners, including key contacts, decision makers, and relevant details to the sales process.
  • Utilize and maintain CRM systems and other tools to track lead progression, support evaluation of lead-gen techniques and provide accurate reporting to management.

 

Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the colleagues on sales efforts, and support team with particularly challenging renewals, utilizing your deep understanding of the client and their needs.
  • Provide feedback from potential or new client interactions to improve messaging, targeting, and overall sales effectiveness for hospitality team.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success team to ensure successful handover of new clients to in-life Management.

Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in CRM and via other tools identified by management.
  • Track key performance metrics such as sales, lead generation, lead conversion (win/loss ratio), and success by property size, brand, region and through major trade associations/buying groups.
  • Generate analyses to assess the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and identify areas for improvement, providing that feedback with regular cadence
  • Solicit and provide feedback from and to team members to help refine sales pitch and positioning.

Product Evolution

  • Share insights and partner feedback with a view to influencing product.

 

You are a great fit if you have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong negotiation and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM system with a data-driven approach to goal setting and performance tracking
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Highly target-driven with a strong focus on achieving peak performance
  • Proven ability to generate leads and pursue new business opportunities (hunter mindset)
  • Self-motivated with a strategic and solution-oriented mindset
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • The ability to work independently and proactively, while valuing collaboration within a team environment

 

Bonus points if you:

•         Have work experience in the technology or hospitality industry

•         Have fluency in additional languages, particularly Italian or German

•         Have familiarity with or prior experience working in the UK market

•         Have a strong interest in published media and the travel industry

This role provides commission eligibility based on achieving KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), in addition to your base salary.
