Role Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager will drive the overall optimization for our pre-sales and post-sales processes within HubSpot. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by leveraging HubSpot to its full potential across the entire organization.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales operations, particularly within a SaaS environment utilizing HubSpot as the CRM.  This role requires a blend of analytical skills, project management expertise, and a strong understanding of sales methodologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • HubSpot Ownership and Management: Own the HubSpot platform, ensuring its optimal configuration, data integrity, and utilization across all departments (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success). This includes user training, process optimization, reporting, and ongoing platform improvements.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement in sales processes, workflows, and methodologies. Collaborate with sales leadership to implement changes to increase efficiency, shorten sales cycles, and improve conversion rates.
  • Sales Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain key sales performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reports to track progress, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making. Proactively identify and communicate critical insights to sales leadership.
  • Outbound Sales Optimization: Partner with the sales leadership to enhance outbound sales efforts, optimizing cold outreach through the use of HubSpot and Orum. Create and implement data-driven frameworks for improving response rates, engagement metrics, and lead conversion in outbound activities.
  • Team Enablement & GTM Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure GTM strategies are data-driven, with clear alignment between outbound efforts and lead generation..
  • Data Management and Integrity: Ensure data quality and accuracy within HubSpot. Develop and implement data governance policies and processes.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales operations budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and IT, to achieve common goals


Required Experience
  • 5+ years professional experience and 2+ years in Sales Operations with a strong focus on SaaS. 
  • Extensive experience in environments where outbound sales was a critical component, especially using tools like HubSpot for email sequencing and Orum for cold calling.
  • Proven success in optimizing outbound sales strategies, improving cold outreach metrics, and increasing pipeline growth through automation and process improvements.
  • Strong experience with HubSpot CRM or similar platforms, ensuring data accuracy, pipeline tracking, and automation across sales and marketing.
  • Experience in building revenue forecasting models, developing sales enablement frameworks, and driving cross-departmental collaboration.


Required Soft Skills
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams and lead through growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to align teams around shared revenue goals.
  • Data-driven decision-making, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • High organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple initiatives and handle rapid changes effectively.
