Job: Quality Assurance Manager
Pay: $75/Hr-$80/Hr
Term: Feb 2025 - Feb 2026 with renewal
Location: 100% on Site in Tallahassee, FL
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required.
Certifications:
- Process Improvement Methodologies and demonstrated proficiency in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen, including a certification such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Plus in consideration if they have Quality Assurance (e.g., International Software Testing Qualifications Board [ISTQB]) with Waterfall experience
Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years in IT, with at least four (4) years in process engineering and two (2) years in project management;
- Strong skills in mapping out business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and analyzing inefficiencies;
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or specialized business process modeling tools (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation [BPMN] software like Bizagi or Architecture of Integrated Information Systems [ARIS]);
Responsibilities:
- Manages the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles and processes into the design and development of software and IT processes;
- Oversees the User Acceptance Testing processes for the Project Management Office and its defined programs;
- Ensures that quality methods and procedures are executed;
- Ensures that products, applications, and systems comply with established quality standards and meet customer requirements;
- Analyzes best-in-class processes and establishes customer satisfaction metrics;
- Understands the interaction and relationship of business operations, operating systems, and network processes;
- Champions the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs, and team building activities;
- Researches, develops, and implements testing methods and procedures;
- Creates and maintains an automation library and its relevant testing processes.
- Monitors and reports on defects; and
- Ensures that products meet the highest quality standards.
