👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Banking IFRS and Reporting Specialist at Qonto, you will:

Define and stabilize Qonto's IFRS 9 accounting policy and lead the preparation of financial statement disclosures related to banking operations

Provide IFRS expert guidance on technical banking operations (including impact and gap analysis) to various teams, notably the ALM and Corporate Finance teams, and implement any new IFRS guidance applicable (IFRS 18)

Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory reporting frameworks aligned with industry standards

Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on accounting policies

Create and implement training materials to build internal understanding of complex accounting norms across the organization

🤔 What you can expect:

You'll work across multiple teams including Corporate Development, FP&A, and with auditors, providing a broad and impactful scope of work, becoming the IFRS 9 expert within teams.

As Qonto continues its rapid growth, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our expansion across Europe and even build a team over time.

🤝 About your future manager:

Assia Lahssini, your manager, brings a wealth of experience in accounting and consolidation gathered from her first years in audit and corporate environments. Her leadership style promotes autonomy and growth, creating an environment where you can thrive and develop your expertise.

🏅 About You:

You have at least 5 years of experience with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 9, ideally gained in a financial institution or a banking department in a Big 4 consulting firm.

You excel at building relationships with external providers and cross-functional teams, with proven experience in driving consensus on complex accounting matters.

You have a track record of solving complex accounting challenges and implementing new standards.

You can explain complex IFRS concepts to non-finance stakeholders and create clear technical documentation for financial statements.

• You are fluent in French and English.
