Chief Clinical Officer

The expected salary range for this position is based on several factors including market, funding, candidates experience level, skills, schedule, training, and related knowledge. Our ranges are developed and published as good faith estimates for the position.

Salary Range: $145,000- $175,000 | Higher end of the range is for applicants that have PhD or similar and meet or exceed our preferred qualifications for leadership and clinical experience. Office benefit package (Parking/Remote Expenses): $210/Month subject to change

As the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) of RADIAS Health, the primary responsibility is to set policy and provide oversight to ensure that professional, quality clinical program services are provided to the clients served by RADIAS Health in all programs and divisions. The Chief Clinical Officer will perform responsible administrative, clinical supervisory work, and clinical strategy involving the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies and procedures as directed by state, federal, and administrative codes, as well as professional practice standards. This position will oversee clinical, quality assurance, and compliance. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical direction and set clinical care standards for all divisions and programs. 
  • Oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures. 
  • Lead the development of long-term and short-term clinical strategies. 
  • Ensure organizational and clinical compliance with state, federal, administrative, and professional practice standards. 
  • Responsible for HIPAA and Privacy Practices, including by acting as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for RADIAS Health.   
  • Organize and manage Quality Assurance and Internal Auditing process for clinical practices.  
  • Accountable for all mandated reports, compliance, external audits and site visits for all RADIAS Health Clinical Programs. 
  • Lead, supervise, consult and oversee the performance of four direct reports consisting of three Clinical Directors and Medical Director, including providing oversight for the divisions they supervise.   
  • Support growth and expansion of clinical services through business development, networking, preferred partnerships, and assisting RADIAS Health’s ability to be in-network with a variety of commercial insurance providers.  
  • Promote communication and cooperation among divisions to create a unified organization. 
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and CEO to create evidence-based clinical pathways. 
  • Develop training, practice, and performance expectations for clinical staff. 
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Process Improvement Specialist and Director of Human Resources to develop and monitor key clinical performance measures. 
  • Member of the Executive Leadership Team (CEO, CFO, CTO, COO, and Director of HR) 
  • Lead and facilitate managers’ meetings as well as present/participate in RADIAS Health Townhalls and other appropriate meetings/presentations. Present clinical updates and strategy direction.  
  • Ensure clinical operations conform with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards. 
  • Represent the organization in external clinical committees and community groups. 
  • Participate in annual budget development and manage clinical expenditures in partnership with the CFO. 
  • Serve as executive sponsor and committee chair of select committees, including the clinical committee and clinical training institute committee. 
  • Serve as member of risk management charter committee. 
  • Conduct walk-throughs of service locations and, as appropriate, conduct skip-level supervisions and meet with staff. 
  • Maintain a pattern of regular work hours. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information. 
  • Participate actively in on-going professional growth and development; maintain appropriate professional behavior and participate in appropriate supervision. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Preferred: 

  • Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred; will consider a master's degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited university with the addition of over 10 years of experience in a clinical leadership position or related experience. 
  • Licensed professional (LP, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT) - Required 
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in a mental health-related field. 
  • 15+ years of leadership experience. 
  • Knowledge of business management, Medicaid, and accreditation standards, and change management experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with health care compliance/oversight, program accreditation/licensure, and implementing and overseeing clinical practice to comply with regulatory requirements 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
