The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $37,400-$54,200 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Accept and inspect returned goods for Red Wing, WORX, Irish Setter, and Heritage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect defective product and using judgement and department guidelines, determine amount of credit to issue; complete the Non-Conforming Material process.
• Inspect new shoe returns and issue credit.
• Touch-up / clean-up / re-box / shoes
• Unload UPS & mail
• Crush / bale cardboard for recycle/disposal.
• Typing no credit letters

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify potential quality issues to the Quality Department.
• Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication software.
• Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.
• Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values.
• Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes, or programs.
• Conduct self according to RWSC policies/Handbook.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain a team environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and E mail

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE

Forklift License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
