We are seeking a Medical Billing Manager to oversee billing operations for a well-established healthcare organization in Buffalo, NY. This full-time, direct-hire position offers a hybrid schedule (three days on-site, two days remote) with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the behavioral health billing operations, ensuring compliance with Managed Care and Medicaid requirements. Oversee workflow, supervise a small but growing team, and optimize revenue cycle processes.
• Supervise and support a small but growing billing team.
• Manage claims processing, charge entry, payment posting, and collections.
• Conduct A/R analysis, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Optimize revenue cycle processes and implement best practices.
• Train and mentor billing staff.
• Ensure accuracy in Medicaid APG billing and electronic transactions.
• Work with raw data files and 837 files for claims processing.
Compensation & Schedule:
$60,000 – $65,000/year, 35-40 hours per week. Hybrid schedule (three days on-site, two days remote) with flexible hours.
