AWS Workspace Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AWS Workspace Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage custom AWS Golden Image and bundles for provisioning local developer workspaces
• Oversee user account management within AWS Workspaces and configure monitoring and alerts using Amazon CloudWatch
• Develop and implement a comprehensive backup strategy for AWS Workspaces recovery and provide support to optimize performance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience administering complex Java-based applications within AWS Workspaces
• Comprehensive understanding of standard tools including IDEs, text editors, Maven, and Git Source Code Management
• Proficiency in full-stack development and experience with Agile-enhancing tools
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have a SECRET clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is preferred
