Certified Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Manager to oversee daily coding operations and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee coding specialists and daily coding operations
• Implement policies to promote accurate coding and reduce denials
• Conduct coding education and monitor coding accuracy among providers and specialists

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 3 years of experience in physician and outpatient coding in a leadership position
• Knowledge of orthopedics, pain management, and therapy coding
• Familiarity with coding and billing compliance in physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers
• Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, or CCS-P are preferred
