Position Purpose:
Provides analytical support to the development and administration of compensation programs that meet Home Depot objectives and needs. Focus may include store, SSC, or executive compensation; incentive plans; equity programs; and diversified business compensation programs. Consults with HR clients or business partners to assist with compensation decisions or issues. Supports day-to-day compensation activities including the production of compensation communications and approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
• 40% Performs assigned compensation processes such as incentive calculations, job code creation, systems updates and maintenance, and other output deliverables.
• 40% Ad hoc analyses and projects including basic incentive design, earnings comparisons, market surveys, etc.
• 10% Compensation reporting such as earnings scorecards, statements, etc.
• 10% Internal customer support with various compensation questions and needs.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
• Typically reports to Manager Compensation
• No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum Education:
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
