Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect, preserve, and ensure the availability of data
• Measure and monitor database performance for optimal configuration settings
• Document and automate processes to reduce time spent on recurring tasks

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years of experience supporting Postgres
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Understanding of relational database theory and implementations
• Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups is preferred
