Job Descriptions:
BuzzClan seeks an experienced Business Development Director to drive the growth of our technology and staffing solutions across Federal government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and growing federal government contracts, a deep understanding of the public sector procurement process, and strong technical acumen in IT services and staff augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead business development initiatives focused on different state/federal agencies, cities, counties, and educational institutions
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key government/ Federal decision-makers and procurement officers
• Develop winning proposals and responses to government/Federal RFPs/RFQs
• Create go-to-market strategies for BuzzClan’s core offerings, including • IT Staff Augmentation Services • Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions • Business Application Services • Data Engineering & Analytics • Quality Assurance & Automation Solutions
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proper solution design and pricing
• Track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue
• Stay current on government IT initiatives and spending priorities
• Mentor and develop junior BD team members.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of business development experience selling technology solutions to Federal/ government clients
• Proven track record of winning state/Federal government contracts.
• Deep understanding of Federal government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
• Experience with staff augmentation and professional services delivery models
• A strong network of relationships within Federal government agencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with different Federal/state contract vehicles
• Knowledge of Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, and other key technology partnerships
• MBA or relevant advanced degree
• Public sector consulting background
