Job Summary

A company is looking for a Departmental Specialist 14 - Legal Affairs - State Hospital Administration Forensic Legal Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal liaison between Legal Affairs Administration and state psychiatric hospitals
• Assist the Attorney General's Office on legal matters related to state hospitals and facilitate hospital admissions and discharges
• Provide guidance on forensic and probate mental health processes and present at relevant conferences

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction of the United States
• Four years of professional experience, including two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
• Documentation of relevant experience and education must be provided in the application
