Looking for an upbeat, high energy, friendly, reliable, hardworking, professional for a fast-growing Interventional Pain Management and Orthopedic Specialist Clinic.
Your job duties are but not limited to:
• Perform all End of Day operations as they pertain to front office
• All administrative duties (copy, fax, scan, etc)
• Ensure patient waiting area, exam rooms and restrooms are maintained
• Enter data into patient’s electronic record (eClinicalWorks)
• Scan and index documents accurately to patient’s electronic medical records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA requirements
• Request medical/cardiac/blood clearances and follow-up on pending requests
• Call and confirm patient appointments for all locations
• Greet patients in a pleasant and professional manner
• Check in/out patients, collect copays and co-insurance as directed
• Collections of previous outstanding balances when directed
• Process new patient referrals
• Schedule patient office appointments and procedures
• Schedule procedures at ASC and hospitals
• Answer incoming telephone calls and make outbound telephone calls as necessary
• Check phone, fax and email messages and respond accordingly
• Possess a thorough understanding of insurance and perform verification of patient’s insurance eligibility
• Assist with clinical flow to ensure timely visit
• Scan and assign labs and diagnostic imaging
• Input PCP, referring provider and pharmacies
• All other duties as assigned

Education:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent. (Preferred)
Experience:
• Medical Office experience (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years medical receptionist experience. (Required)
• Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Answering multiple phone lines
• Must have excellent customer service orientation
• Must have strong TEAM orientation
• EMR – eClinical Works experience (Preferred)
Work Location:
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations to cover when needed: Riverview, Tampa, Pinellas Park, Trinity, and Lutz
