Lead Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Linux Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, optimize, and secure Linux-based infrastructure
• Manage automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Act as the highest technical escalation point for Linux-related issues and lead enterprise-level projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in Linux system administration and engineering
• Deep expertise in RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, or other enterprise Linux distributions
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Packer.io, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with vendor, industry, and security best practices
